Illuminating the filmmakers of tomorrow for the BFI
For the BFI Luminous Gala at London’s Roundhouse, a zoetrope-inspired immersive environment was created to celebrate the evolution of film. I designed the pre-guest experience, including the red carpet and archive gallery for the fundraising auction. Inside the main venue, a 360-degree arrangement of suspended screens, surround sound, and a live choir transformed the space into a cinematic journey. Featuring exclusive BFI archive content and an original score by David Arnold, the experience honoured the BFI’s role in nurturing new talent and celebrating British film heritage for an audience of over 400 guests.
